The official Aqoocan Games website is now live.
We’re a board game publisher built around one idea: serious topics, genuinely fun games. There’s a whole field called serious games — designed for education, psychology, social issues, vocational training, anything but entertainment. It holds real value, but purpose often ends up front and centre, and the pull of the game itself weakens.
What matters to us is translating the substance of a serious theme into genuine fun. Not putting learning on display, but designing so that players are simply enjoying themselves — and find, somewhere along the way, that their thinking and their conversations have grown.
What this site is for
This isn’t a product catalogue. We want it to be a place where we can say honestly what we’re thinking about and how we design what we make.
