About this game
Inner Deck (working title) is a card game about understanding yourself and understanding others.
Everyone carries several selves. The bold one, the reserved one, the kind one, the critical one. Each of them is genuinely you, and we live by swapping between them as the situation asks.
This game offers an experience of meeting those many sides of yourself through cards, and talking them over with someone else. It stands on solid ground in psychology, but it’s designed with fun first.
Where it sits at Aqoocan Games
Our mission: “Serious topics, genuinely fun games.”
Psychology and self-understanding have long carried an air of the serious, the academic, the something-you-do-in-a-counselling-room. Inner Deck (working title) is our attempt to translate that territory into a game you can happily play with family or friends.
You have fun, and you understand yourself a little better. You understand the person across the table a little better too. We want the cards to carry that room for conversation to the table.
Where development stands
Concept and design work are under way. Details, visuals and release timing will follow as they’re ready.
“Inner Deck” is a working title. We’ll announce the final name as development progresses.
